For now forget all the hand-wringing over what will or will not happen next; be thankful that enough of the Republican electorate has perhaps figured out what a disaster Trump is. Hopefully said electorate has finally awakened to the cowardly fealty to given him by their craven representatives who will soon find themselves out of a job. Sticking with a “leader” through easily predicted disaster after easily-avoided (or at least mitigated) disaster caused by The Orange Disaster makes those “leaders” partially to blame.
Enjoy the feeling that the U.S. electorate might not be as far gone as it seemed when it re-elected the 34-count convicted felon whose response to COVID cost millions of lives (remember those daily press conferences spent cruelly demeaning anyone he didn’t like & absurdly aggrandizing himself) & his attempted coup against the U.S. government? Apparently Republicans did not in 2020, as 74 million of them tried to vote him back in. This is progress, people. Enjoy the success.
