“480 Minutes” - No Bottom
Not referring to anything sexual with that title, just stating a fact about my once better-than-average country which is now a pariah nation on the world stage. Sad.
A prominent Democratic politician resigned this week due to multiple credible accusations of sexual misconduct. MAGA is thrilled because said politician was a vocal & effective Trump critic, reveling online in the fact that a Democrat is in trouble for sexual behavior (it’s almost always bible-thumping, “family values” humping Republicans). In their celebratory shadenfreude they miss this pretty significant difference: when a Democrat is so accused, Democrats force him out, whereas when a Republican is so accused (& convicted!), Republicans make him President. Twice.
(Republicans continue to stand by the convicted sex criminal while he blocks the release of the Trumpstein files which incriminate him as a pedophile even though one of his campaign promises was to release said files).
