“480 Minutes” - Lying ICE
This week ICE (Trump’s nascent gestapo) shot & killed an American citizen in Minnesota. She was attempting to drive away while conflicting commands were barked at her by multiple ICE agents, one of whom shot her multiple times in the head through the driver-side window she’d opened to hear those conflicting commands.
The lying liars who freed 1500 actual convicted domestic terrorists are now calling the murder victim (a 37-year old apolitical mother who had just dropped off her 1st grader at school) a domestic terrorist.
The Big Lie about the 2020 election went unchallenged for too long & the repetition made it reality for millions of Americans.
Lies about January 6th, no matter how absurd (“It was a day of love”), persist, & although it’s hard to imagine that anyone is actually dumb enough to believe them, millions of Americans are at least OK with being lied to about what they saw.
Lies about the ongoing coverup of The Trumpstein Files have been temporarily supplanted from the headlines by the US invading Venezuela after months of troop build-up & denials that there was any plan to invade (which is precisely what preceded Vlad The Invader’s invasion of Ukraine), but even when they return to the fore will Congress do anything about the administration breaking the law Trump himself signed just weeks ago?
Now Trump’s unaccountable thugs have murdered an innocent American citizen in broad daylight on camera. The citizen videos are clear, the driver was not trying to hit anyone, she was trying to leave the scene, as one ICE agent was ordering her to do. The subsequent over-the-top lockstep totally mendacious smearing of this innocent woman by Trump, Noem, Vance, Miller, et al couldn’t be more clear — these vile deceivers know what happened, they fear it could derail their visions of the gestapo they are building, so they will say & do anything to bury the reality.
First they came for the trade unionists, now white soccer moms are collateral damage to be posthumously sullied by lying liars.
We will see if MAGA accepts that fact & the lies about what their own eyes have seen. Although the reality is hard to accept — if you find yourself in the way of these authoritarian asshats, intentionally or not, you will be mercilessly crushed under their jackboots & blamed for your own death — it is plain.
We The People, our elected officials, & the media must hammer home that reality daily. Don’t let the lies take hold. Don’t let this atrocity fade behind the facade of the next outrage. Also, pay attention to but don’t focus on the lies, focus on the murder & whose policies & ineptitude are to blame.
