The reason that we have troops in “blue” American cities this year to quell nonexistent riots & civil disturbances is to normalize it. The reason ICE is exceeding its authority in cities well beyond the 100-mile limit of the border set is to normalize the disappearing of people off our streets. These scenes of barbaric, unnecessary, & in many cased unjustified & illegal force against citizens & non-citizens alike are laying the groundwork for intimidating voters into staying home rather than risk being beaten & disappeared. With the midterm elections coming up next year these tactics must be stopped now or the term “free & fair” will no longer apply to U.S. elections.
