“480 Minutes” - Lying Liars Will Stop At Nothing (Including Your Door)

there is no crime wave in U.S. cities
there is no need to have the military involved in any domestic policing
no one knows the political views or affiliation of Charlie Kirk’s killer but that hasn’t stopped the President, Vice President, congressional Republicans, Fox News, & Grok (yes, Grok, Elon’s Nazi-loving AI tool) from claiming he is a radical leftist
we have decades of evidence supporting the safety & efficacy of vaccines
we have decades of evidence supporting the safety & efficacy of mifepristone
you wouldn’t want to live in a country where comedians are not allowed to mock Dear Leader
every MAGA knows that Trump, like his friend Epstein, has a predilection for underage girls

Despite all of the & more the compliant, cowed U.S. media reports on the Trump administration as if it’s constant & blatant lies about these things are normal, instead of untethered to reality.

Anti-democratic inhumane actions are being taken to round up & deport brown people; troops have been deployed to no fewer than 3 U.S. cities for no good reason at all; chances are good that the Charlie Kirk shooter (white Christian kid from a family seemingly defined by guns) was not a leftist yet the media keeps repeating that lie w/o mentioning the lack of evidence for it; the CDC pushed out a senior scientist for refusing to sign off on a new list of vaccine guidelines before she was given a chance to review them & the (total lack of) evidence to support them; the whole Epstein uproar from MAGA (they were promised the files would be released & were pissed when Trump Again Chickened Out) is being shoved down the memory hole as the Administration continues it’s assault on any & all dissent.

Well, folks, it’s now time to grab your comfortable “la la everything is fine” friends by the back of the neck & pull their heads out of the sand for them because at this rate there will be no one with any reach willing to speak out against Dear Leader & his minions of destruction & no chance at all for free & fair midterm elections. Silencing dissent affects all of us; this week I received a link to a playlist called This Playlist Kills Fascists, a play on the old Woodie Guthrie slogan he’d put on guitars, “This machine kills fascists”) with the admission that the sender only listens to it when signed in under an assumed name/account. In the United States of America. Anyway, while shaking your friends from their stupor try something like, “I hate to do this to you, friend, but the unprecedented suffocation of free speech is a smidge more important than NCIS: Origins & your help is required.”
