“480 Minutes” - MAHA is as Dishonest as MAGA; Chicken Tacos For All!

The US Health Secretary released a “scientific” report called MAHA (“Make America Healthy Again”), because of course he called it that, in which multiple sources cited are completely nonexistent, some sources cited are distorted & misrepresented, & some authors in the latter group are calling bullshit on Trump’s anti-vax bushmeat eating wader in feces & e-coli RFK Jr. Yes, one of those is a link to People Magazine because this administration is just that — with apologies to Jim Kerr — simpleminded.

Because this administration can always make bad worse, this week RFK Jr. called the gold standard of U.S. medical journals —including The Lancet & The New England Journal of Medicine — “corrupt,” & announced plans to create state-run journals to replace them. I hope he doesn’t put the same deceitful dunderheads who authored MAHA in charge of those.

Not surprisingly, “make America healthy again,” the catchphrase of the non-health professional whose views on medicine & science are at odds with actual medical doctors & actual scientists, is just about as honest & accurate as the catchphrase used by his boss, whose Kremlin-set agenda is at odds with making America great in any way.

Speaking of the boss who hates The Boss, this week the White House resident who insults anyone & everyone but himself can’t take any ribbing this week learned that Wall Street refers to his tariff bluster as “TACO trades,” that is: Trump Always Chickens Out, threatening high tariffs, then backing off.
